This stepper motor performs very well for my application and exceeded my expectations. I''m using these in a milling cnc I''m building to drive the axis ball screws and have been able to achieve speeds in excess of 2200rpm which with a 5mm pitch screw, translates into 11,000mm/min or over 400IPM.

Read MoreIn motors. Depending on the configuration of a spinning electromotive device the stator may act as the field magnet, interacting with the armature to create motion, or it may act as the armature, receiving its influence from moving field coils on the rotor. The first DC generators (known as dynamos) and DC motors put the field coils on the stator, and the power generation or motive reaction ...
Read MoreMotor drive, or simply known as drive, describes equipment used to control the speed of machinery. Many industrial processes such as assembly lines must operate at different speeds for different products. Where process conditions demand adjustment of flow from a pump or fan, varying the speed of the drive may save energy compared with other techniques for flow control.
Read MoreA variable-frequency drive is a device used in a drive system consisting of the following three main sub-systems: AC motor, main drive controller assembly, and drive/operator interface.: 210–211 AC motor. The AC electric motor used in a VFD system is usually a three-phase induction motor. Some types of single-phase motors or synchronous motors can be advantageous in some situations, but ...

Read MoreBrushless motors forgo these parts. They''re a newer design that''s become quite popular in the field of modeling since they require much less in the way of maintenance. At the RC Superstore, we''ve made sure to stock plenty of components for individuals who drive any kind of truck, including those that need electronic speed control.
Read MoreA stepper motor, also known as step motor or stepping motor, is a brushless DC electric motor that divides a full rotation into a number of equal steps. The motor''s position can then be commanded to move and hold at one of these steps without any position sensor for feedback (an open-loop controller), as long as the motor is carefully sized to the application in respect to torque and speed.

Read MoreJan 01, 2012· Axial piston motors have good volumetric efficiencies, especially at lower pressures. Good starting torque characteristics are also inherent to this design. Finally, axial-ball-piston motors have multiple wave cams that are pressure balanced to operate without vibration or pulsation. They are similar to a cam design in this regard.
